Functional Capacity Assessments
A Functional Capacity Assessment (FCA), also known as a Functional Capability Assessment, is a thorough evaluation designed to determine an individual’s abilities and limitations in performing daily activities. This assessment is especially relevant for individuals dealing with disability, injury, or illness.
The primary aim of a Functional Capacity Assessment is to assess the person’s current functional abilities and limitations across various aspects of daily life. This includes evaluating their capacity for personal care, mobility, communication, social interaction, work, and leisure activities.
Additionally, the assessment helps identify specific support needs and areas requiring assistance. It highlights any deficits in physical, cognitive, or emotional functioning that may affect daily living.

Sensory Assessments
Our team of mobile Occupational Therapists is dedicated to helping clients live their best lives. We offer practical solutions and therapy designed to support engagement in everyday activities—such as self-care, community participation, meal preparation, and more. Our goal is to enable clients to enjoy and find meaning in their daily lives in ways that are personally significant to them.
Home Modifications/AT Prescription
Home modifications involve tailored changes to a participant’s home to make various areas more accessible and safer. These modifications can vary from minor adjustments to extensive renovations, with the goal of aiding daily tasks and boosting independence for individuals with disabilities.
By carefully planning and implementing home modifications with the support of our Occupational Therapists, individuals with disabilities can significantly improve their quality of life, achieving greater independence and safety in their everyday activities.
Home & Living Assessments SIL/SDA/ILO
For clients with complex needs, modified living spaces are often necessary for independent living. Our OT SDA and SIL Functional Assessments help determine eligibility for NDIS funding, strengthen applications, and provide solutions for independent living.
Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) caters to individuals with very high support needs or significant functional impairments, incorporating accessible features to enhance independence. Supported Independent Living (SIL) offers essential support for living independently, whether in shared or individual settings, for those with high support needs. Our goal is to improve living conditions and foster independence for these individuals.
Assistive Technology & Equipment Prescription
Whether you need support with daily tasks or want to explore the latest technology, the right Assistive Technology (AT) can greatly enhance independence and quality of life. Our Assistive Technology Assessments are designed to understand each client’s specific needs and identify the most suitable AT solutions. As there is no one-size-fits-all approach to AT, we provide personalised assessments aimed at boosting engagement and independence in everyday activities. From small items like watches to larger equipment such as wheelchairs, we help clients find the best solutions for their needs. Additionally, we offer a trial service with most of our suppliers, allowing clients to test AT products before making a purchase.
