About Natalie Carpenter

Natalie is an Advanced Behaviour Support Practitioner who works with children, young people, and adults. She brings strong experience in clinical supervision, supporting practitioners to develop reflective, ethical, and compassionate practice within complex behaviour support settings.

Natalie’s approach is neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed, with a focus on reducing distress, building safety, and supporting each person to live a meaningful life in ways that feel right for them. She values collaboration and works closely alongside parents, carers, and support teams to co-design practical, respectful strategies that genuinely fit into everyday life. She has a strong area of interest and extensive experience supporting autistic and neurodivergent children and young people, working in partnership with families to understand each child’s communication style, sensory profile, and emotional world.

In addition to her direct practice, Natalie provides ongoing clinical supervision and mentoring to behaviour support practitioners, fostering reflective decision-making, ethical practice, and alignment with NDIS and regulatory expectations.
Natalie is a qualified Social Worker with over 13 years’ experience across disability, early intervention, behaviour support, and clinical supervision, and is currently completing a Master of Applied Behaviour Analysis.
