Dana is a highly experienced Psychologist and Advanced Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, endorsed in Health Psychology and registered with AHPRA. Drawing on extensive expertise in psychology in clinical and health contexts and behavioural science, she is dedicated to delivering person-centred, evidence-based Positive Behaviour Support that enhances quality of life and creates meaningful, lasting outcomes.
Dana provides comprehensive Positive Behaviour Support through functional behaviour assessments, the development and implementation of Behaviour Support Plans, and collaborative capacity-building with families, carers, educators, support workers, and multidisciplinary teams.
Her approach is founded on respect, dignity, and inclusion, empowering individuals to build skills, increase independence, and participate more fully in their homes, schools, workplaces, and communities.
With extensive experience supporting individuals with autism, intellectual disability, acquired brain injury, psychosocial disability, and rare genetic conditions, Dana is passionate about understanding the underlying causes of behaviours of concern. She works collaboratively to develop practical, proactive, and evidence-based strategies that improve wellbeing, strengthen quality of life, and reduce or eliminate the need for restrictive practices, ensuring supports are tailored to each person’s unique strengths, goals, and circumstances.
