Zehra is a dedicated Behaviour Support Practitioner with a Bachelor of Psychological Science and experience supporting children and adults with a diverse range of disability, mental health and psychosocial support needs.
Zehra brings experience in developing and implementing Behaviour Support Plans, conducting assessments and intakes, facilitating stakeholder communication, and supporting the implementation of person-centred and evidence-informed strategies.
With experience supporting individuals with autism, psychosocial disability, complex trauma, intellectual and physical disabilities, Zehra is committed to building positive relationships based on trust, empathy and collaboration. She works alongside participants, families, support workers and other stakeholders to promote consistent, practical and meaningful support strategies.
Zehra has a particular interest in trauma-informed practice and culturally responsive behaviour support, including developing strategies that are appropriate and meaningful for Indigenous Australian and culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) participants.
